In an Unstable World the U.S. Loses

In this article on Medium.com, Sean Randolph, Senior Director of the Institute, argues that as the United States shifts toward unilateral, power-driven policies and retreats from alliances and international institutions, it is weakening global stability and undermining its own long-term influence. In doing so, it is pushing allies toward new partnerships and giving competitors like China an opportunity to expand their leadership, ultimately leaving the U.S. more isolated and less secure.
