Each month, the California Employment Development Division (EDD) released detailed data on employment and unemployment throughout California. The Bay Area Council Economic Institute uses this data to create user-friendly reports designed to inform interested parties of recent employment developments in their regions. Reports are also available for a group of California largest employing industries.
These reports are updated shortly after the release of data by the EDD, generally at 10 a.m. on the third Friday of the month. (Last updated January 18, 2013.)
